1925

Filiberto Romagna founded the company in Malo (VI) to transport fabrics and bricks.

1931

Because of the great depression part of the company was moved to the African colonies.

1945

The whole company came back to Italy and continued with its original work.

1960

Illide Romagna, the son, took the reins of the company and moved its core business concentrating on the transport of zoo-technical food, raw material and cereals.

1995

The first refrigerated vehicles arrived in the company for the transport of food.

2008

In order to give a complete service of ttransport and logistics, Systema was founded for all the “handling-warehouse”activities.

2011

Simone Romagna, third generation of Romagna family, took the complete lead of the company

From the end of the ‘90s to today, the company has been growing increasing the clients portfolio and also the number of vehicles, either for the transport food and for zoo-technical products, raw material and cereals.

The need to increase efficiency making the corporate activity smoother, is the real turning point in Trasporti Romagna. Today the number of vehicles used is around 595 units,investments on new vehicles and employees that work to meet the growing customers needs, represent a virtuous model of development.

Monitoring operations office

Trasporti Romagna pays particular attention to monitoring the fleet during the transport of goods. The actual system consisting of an operations center provided with a redundant server network, enables to plan, manage and rule the transport.

Each vehicles has a computer on board that receives the information about the type of service: route suggested, carachteristics of the transported goods, temperature of conservation, eventual instructions to follow during the transport.

Trasporti Romagna has benn one of the first companies in this sector provided with ISO 9001 and Sincert certifications. Afterwards it has implemented a system of integrated management (quality and safety) UNI EN ISO 9001-2008. Since 2011 Traporti Romagna has been getting the qualification according to GMP+84.1 international quality standards for zootechnical sector.
